I spent a goodly portion of yesterday evening squeezing juice out of oranges from the tree outside of Grandma H.'s condo. There isn't any better OJ on the face of the planet. The stuff is amazing, from the has-to-be-seen-to-be-believed color (deep orange-red) to the fantastic taste (sweet and tart at once, a sugary-acidic bomb with a richness and complexity of flavor that I really don't know how to describe) to the insane vitamin C-load it drops on your system (I was lucky enough to get a bunch of the oranges once when just coming down with a nasty cold, and *poof* I was perfectly well in record time). They're a rare treat. Now to find time to squeeze the rest and freeze a bunch of the juice for later in the year.
