"Sides are being chosen, and the future of man hangs in the balance! The enemies of virtue may be on the march, but they have not won, and if we put our trust in Christ, they never will ... It is for us then to do as our heroes have always done and put our faith in the perfect redeeming love of Jesus Christ."
Tom DeLay, today: DeLay to leave Congress. From the Houston Chronicle article:
"DeLay, the subject of more ethics issues than any other member of Congress, was expected to withdraw from the race and step down from Congress by late May or June."
To which I think we can all say: evidently God was listening, and we all know God loves irony. Now if only the worm doesn't escape prosecution...which given Rudy's indictment and agreement to cooperate with prosecutors on Friday, isn't likely. The man is going down. Thank goodness. It's about darn time. Let's hope he takes all of his buddies with him.
