Being sick sucks. It sucks even more when you've got a ton of things you really need to get done, both at home and at work, and are too sick to do them. Case in point: yesterday I stayed home sick, and tried to do some work at home, but I was really feeling pretty bad and wasn't terribly productive. I knocked off for a few hours to try and rest and speed recovery, but I kept being bothered by all the things I wanted to get done at home, which wasn't terribly relaxing.
Today I was feeling a bit better when I woke up, so I figured I'd come to work for at least a few hours in order to get some work done and feel better about that, so maybe I could go home and relax while at home. But all I can think about is that I really don't feel good, and I wish I were home.
Conclusion: either I need to find the off switch for my brain when I'm sick, or I need to not get sick when I've got lots of things to do.
Ooog.

Being sick does indeed suck
