A gorgeous weekend

jaunthieThis was one of those rare, treasured spring weekends around here: sunny and warm, perfect gardening weather. I spent pretty much all day in the yard Saturday, but I still have tons of yardwork to do. And it's gorgeous outside again today...too bad I have to be at work. :-/
On the plus side, I spent Sunday morning with my folks, teaching my mom a new recipe (and a big thank you to Luthien, who gave me tips all those years ago about cooking with tofu, and who inspired me to invent the recipe/method I just taught my newly-allergic-to-eggs-and-dairy Mom). hiker_chick. We had planned to go to the Korean Naked Women's Spa, but it turned out they're closed on Sundays, so we wound up picnicking in the park instead, enjoying the sunshine. A very good, very satisfying day.
Even if I do still hear the call of unfinished yardwork. :-p
