jaunthie | A good start to the day

It's already a busy day at work, but I just had to post. I left the house early this morning, turned on Mirkwood (aka "the precious"), and put in 2 miles before driving the van. I also hooked up with my friend B (whom I am going to have to re-dub "GPSMan" for his extensive knowledge) for another walk "later" in the morning (7:30 a.m.), and had a blast comparing our toys and learning about all the functionality I haven't yet discovered. We determined that Mirkwood's quad-helix antenna really does make a difference in tracking ability. We also did a nice brisk 2.9 miles - a lovely combo of company, exercise, and education!
