jaunthieGrandma H sounded much better on the phone last night, and the doctors are thinking about letting her go home as early as today, depending on how she'd doing. Needless to say, I'm very relieved, but still a bit worried and thinking about trying to get down there next week. In other news, I had a lovely walk around the lake last night withsunkrux, who is busily training for the Breast Cancer 3-Day (have you clicked the link to sponsor her yet? It's to the left of this post). The lake was an utter zoo, not unusual when it's a sunny evening, but we managed. Hopefully I'll be walking with her again on Thursday evening. I'd do so tonight, but tonight is photography night. Oy! I also discovered that the Pact of Federal Way has a fatal flaw: Club Ninja is out of print. ARGH! It will require either a lot of hunting in used music stores, or paying way more than I want to from Amazon dealers in out-of-print titles, or something. But if you're listening, monkeybard, Amazon has Fire of Unknown Origins for $9.98.
Now if I can just get Joan Crawford to stop playing in my head...not exactly a song one wants ringing through one's mind at work.
