TRY THIS: Write ten statements about ten different people without saying who each statement is written about. They can either be things you wish that you could say, things you wish that you would have said, or things that you would never say.......

• I'm sorry I lost touch with you. I wish I could find you again.


• I wish I had known you better.


• Damnit, why did you have to die so young?


• I'm glad you're an evangelical Christian, because you must KNOW that you're going to Hell for what you've done.


• I know it sucks, but you make things suckier for yourself with your defeatism.


• I know it hurts, but get out of that situation before it gets any worse, okay? I'm worried about your safety.


• There's an even more special Hell for hypocrites like you.


• I really envy your ability to do it all and have it all. I know you don't think you do a good job of it, but you're wrong.

Dunno 'bout you, but I found myself tempted to write to people I don't know (e.g., famous people) and to think about how many of mine are also things that I would say to myself (now or an older/younger version of myself). FWIW, all of mine are to people that I actually know, but a couple are to more than one person.
