Gonna need a stack of DVDs
Jun. 8th, 2006 07:55 amI will undergo some dental surgery at the end of next week, which means (among other things) I need to prep a lot of soft foods for the days following, as well as have a stack of amusing material handy for while I'm restricted to bed and/or the couch. I'm told that I should plan on being in bed most of the weekend, or at least plan on taking it very easy, and that light, humorous DVDs are the way to go. Anyone have any suggestions? Recommendations? DVDs they'd like to lend me?
I look forward to hearing your suggestions.

Date: 2006-06-10 06:05 pm (UTC)Fred Astaire might be a good direction, and Holiday Inn is my favorite. Yeah, the plot is both simplistic and convoluted, but, well, is that really why we watch Fred Astaire?
As far as non-musicals go, I'd call Under a Tuscan Sun a younger, hipper Shirley Valentine, which I know you like.
More if I think of them.
