I still don't know what time vortex weekends fall into so that they feel so short, but here it is Sunday night again. Another week gone - and another week closer to the 3-Day. I did pretty well this week; between my regular training walk days and a few extra walks I squeezed in on Monday and Friday, I've racked up 29.91 miles. I didn't break the 10 mile mark yesterday, as I rather wanted to, but I think it's a pretty decent tradeoff with the hills I did.

My minimum walk schedule for the coming week:

  • Tuesday: 3 miles

  • Thursday: 5 miles

  • Saturday: 7 miles

  • Sunday: 6 miles


...which totals up to 21 miles minimum for the week. Yup, distances are racking up fast, but I take comfort in the fact that I've walked farther than that the last several weeks running, so I think I should be okay. There's an event-sponsored training walk this coming Saturday that sounds intriguing; maybe I'll join up if I don't have any other plans. If anyone wants to join me for a walk this week, do let me know!
